A Goddess Called Love

Touch by Natalia Jaster is about Love. A goddess born of the stars, first of her kind amongst the deities who don't fully understand her, who think she should act in certain ways. But she is who she is. She watches and pushes and causes love stories to happen until of course she meets a boy, one who should not see her and her love story begins. 

Anger, Wonder, Envy and Sorrow are her fellow deities, all archers like Love who move humans around and shoots arrows at them according to the fates design, but from the readers point of view the are also emotions that are tightly woven with love. One is not always happy in love, it can create a so many other emotions, cause hate, anger and envy. Cause the deepest sadness or make it feel like your in a bewildered state of wonderment. 

It's not simple in this book. The two of them walk around in circles and get angry and fight. It's messy and wonderful and fun and real. Despite it being about a goddess and human boy. 

But it was also the reason behind Sweet Messy Love. Love ends up creating a blog all about Love named A Big Messy Love and it made me think. It made me think how much of our lives revolve around love and lust and sex and how all of it not only gets mixed and muddled up it's also the reason behind so much of what we experience in life. The more I thought about the more I could see it in my mind and the more I wanted to be the one to celebrate it, show it and write about it. It's the start of all this.
